1Salman Khan’s latest action blockbuster has shattered box office records, crossing Rs 500 crore worldwide in its opening weekend. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, became the fastest Bollywood film to reach this milestone.
The film collected Rs 185 crore on its opening day alone, breaking the previous record held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. By Sunday, the worldwide total stood at Rs 521 crore.
The film opened to packed houses across India, with tickets selling out days in advance in major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai. Overseas collections were equally impressive, with strong performances in UAE, USA, UK, and Australia.
Trade analysts attribute the massive opening to the combination of Salman Khan’s star power, high-octane action sequences, and the holiday weekend release timing.
Critics have praised the film’s spectacular action choreography and Salman Khan’s energetic performance. The film currently holds a 78% approval rating on the review aggregator platform.
